Project Engineer/ Project Manager

As a project engineer/ project manager at Randaberg Industries, detail engineering and design work will be among your tasks. You will contribute to the development of our products, ranging from small component designs to larger constructions like subsea structures, modules, skids, and dry bulk facilities. You will  work on all stages of the product, from research and development, through design and manufacturing, to installation and final commissioning. Our customers come from a wide range of sectors, such as the oil and energy industries, vessels, and yards, and our engineering work is diverse.

Typical tasks include:

• Development of project specifications together with colleagues, often including those from other engineering disciplines
• Interface with production/ project departments, sub-contractors, suppliers and customers to solve technical and administrative challenges
• Monitor and commission plants and systems for vessels

 Your skills:

• Formal engineering degree
• Minimum 5 years of experience from project work
• Experience from fabrication related design and fabrication drawings
• Experienced user of CAD and ERP systems
• Fluent in English and Norwegian
• Experience from mechanical workshop activities and fabriacation requirements within structural, piping and tank systems
• Preferably personal network at management level within oil and/ or shipping industry
